Characteristics of Rabi dates
Rabi dates with a moisture content of 16% are classified as semi-dry dates. Its appearance is a little big and elongated, and many people buy fresh jujube with shiny skin and low water permeability, its color is red when it is ripe, green when it is wet, and dark brown to black when it is ripe. Also, the flesh is thick and attached to the core, it has a small core and a chocolate state with a soft texture. The darker its color, the higher its quality. This date is one of the earliest dates in Iran, which is harvested in the middle of September.
