Characteristics of Zahedi dates
Zahedi date, which is also known as Qasb date and in Arabic, Zahedi date, is classified in the category of dry dates. The fruit of this type of date is yellow when ripe, when wet it is yellow-brown and when it is ripe it is red-brown. Qasb dates are oval-shaped and late-clay dates that are harvested at the end of September and the beginning of Mehr. It has a narrow and pointed end, shiny and beautiful skin, nutty taste, mild sweetness and soft texture.
